I want to buy a system . I want to know that whether i can install Unix OS on my machine or i have to go for Linux one ?

Solaris 8 and lower can be installed on Intel (along with all Linux distributions), but not AIX, HP, etc.

I don't believe Solaris 9 is available for Intel.

Can Someone help me reboot my PC? (/sarcasim)

Since most PC's in the world are x86, Most Unix offerings will not be available to those of you wanting to install onto your Dell Desktops. I suggest looking into Linux Distributions, particularly SuSE's latest offerings for personal use.
