Hi,

I am hoping that some of you Oracle pundits will be able to provide some quick help/steps to me.

I wish to know how I can uninstall Oracle 8.1.7 and Developer from Unix/Sun OS.

Your early reply will be much appreciated.

Sincere Regards,
Sameer

login as oracle user.
use DBCA to delete the database.
use OUI to remove the current installations in ORACLE_HOME.
browse throught the directories to find any orphaned oracle file..( orls/controlfiles/datafiles)
edit oratab files and do the cleanup.
