the oracle which is installed with the forms is not getting connected by default scott/tiger... Mad
but i have a separate oracle personal edition which works perfectly...how can i connect forms to this oracle personal edition???.......

Verify your TNSNAMES.ORA files and the Register entries in your two oracle homes.
