really i don't know what is the difference between forms 6i and forms 9i.

There should be a White Paper on the OTN web site.

However, for me, the important 6 to 9 issues are:
- 9 is supported, 6 is not
- 6 can run character mode, 9 can not
- 6 is 2 tier (C/S), 9 is 3 tier and is run through a browser. This makes a 9 application's distribution and execution 'lighter' and easier to manage.

Yes, there is a wealth of technical differences and bugs fixes, but the three items I have listed above are those that I feel are the most important.
