Have B80 (7026) running AIX 5.3 ML2 that has been certified by 2 IBM VARS as physically fit in hardware and configuration. We are running Oracle 10.0.4 with the latest patches and just running an index script we started getting the "ORA-01115 error reading block". Disks were re-certified and error still occurs. We also started getting the "write to control files" error also. DBA has submitted it as an Oracle bug. I was hoping that someone else out there is running AIX and Oracle 10g without problems and can discuss their basic setup on hardware(hardware type for disk and server) and OS versions.
