I am new to Oracle and need to apply a patch to Oracle 9.2.0.1. The documentation states to create a backup of the Oracle 9i installation - I was wondering what all would be included in that? Thanks.

Hi,

You need to backup everything: The entire database and all Oracle related directories - including the ORACLE_HOME, parameter files, password files, etc.
