hi,
i am having core error generated every 3-4 hours.We have previously applied patch to elminate this error.But the problem still persists.We remove the dump files as they get generated.But i would like to get a permanent solution to this problem.I am creating new topic as the search resulted in very old discussions.

You didnt specify any error message, No OS version information, nothing related to what Oracle you are using.
How do others will come to know what error you are getting??
Dont you think posting the exact error message would have been helpful.
Need to elaborate the problem.
