I am using the ole2.Obj_Type to export data in forms to Excel. Since we are having Oracle Application server 10g (Unix machine), we are deploying all the forms into this box and when we try to export to excel from a client machine this is not working at all.

Can anyone please help

Ole2 does not run on Unix, as you have found out. You need to use web_util to get the browser to communicate with the client machine, which I assume is windows based.
