Backward Compatibility and Core Dump. [message #253514]

Hi All,
i am building my files with 10g 10.2.0.1.0
But using with 10.2.0.2.0.

So i am getting Core dump ( sometimes) while i make a DB call.
So is this related to Some version mismatch?
How to get rid of it?

Should i use the same Version for execution as i used for build?

Install correctly your product.

Follow the upgrade/update guide and readme file.

double check your Oracle environment settings used during db startup as well as client environment. Check alert log and bdump trace files for more details on the core dump.
