Dear All,

I've a little problem : When I'm trying to connect to RMAN using this :
rman connect target user/password@instance;
I cannot connect.
To connect I have to separate commands :

1) type : Rman
2) after getting the prompt : RMAN> connect target /

after that I'm connected. Someone could tell me why ?

thanks in advance .

RMAN fails using SQL*Net
RMAN works when connecting to local DB

rman connect target user/password@instance;

Syntax is:

rman target user/password@instance;
