SQL *FORMS DESIGN RELEASE 3.0.16.12.0 PRODUCTION USING ORACLE TOOLKIT VERSION 01.00.35..01.00
PRODUCTION EXPORT & IMPORT RELEASE 7.0.15.4.1

PROBLEMS

ORACLE DATA BLOCK CORRUPTION HAPPENS WITH A SPECIFIC TABLE FROM TIME TO TIME WITH NO VISIBLE
REASON

MAX NO. OF DATAFILES IS REAWCHED AND CAN NOT BE INCREASED UNLESS RECONFIGURE THE DATABASE.
SOME OF THE DATA FILES PHYSICALLY CORRUPTED AND THEIR STATUS IS INVALID AND COULD NOT BE DROPPED OR
DELEATED.

9 DISK TYPE DS-RZ IDA-VW 9.1 GB CONTROLLED BY HSJ50 CRASHED WHEN THEY ARE BECOMING FULL. THEY HAD TO
EXECUTE AN ANALYZER / DISK_STRUCTURE COMMAND TO REPAIR THE DISK., WITH LOSING ITS CONTENTS.
THEIR PLAN TO REPAIR THE EXISTING SET UP AND SAVE THE DATA. THEN GO FOR ABOVE MENTIONED HARDWARE, SOFTWARE
AND NETWORK COMBINATION WITH ORACLE 9I AS DATABASE.

HOW TO MIGRATE THE EXISTING DATABASE TO THE NEW ENVIRONMENT. ANY SPECIFIC MACHINE ON OPEN VMS IS SUGGESTED?

BENCH MARKING ON YOUR SERVER VERSUS SUN SOLARIS , COMPAQ PROLIENT, IBM SERVERS IN THAT RANGE TO
CONVINCE THE USERS WITH REQUIRED OS AND OTHER RELATED SOFTWARE.AN URGENT ACTION ON THIS

PLEASE PROVIDE THE SOLUTION TO THE ABOVE PROBLEMS
